Gente Oil Ecuador to develop the singue field

As part of the Tenth Hydrocarbon Bid Round conducted in 2011 by the government of Ecuador, Gente Oil Ecuador won the right to develop the Singue field and was officially awarded the Singue block in April 2012. Located in the northeastern part of Ecuador, the company received the environmental license and permits, performed the required workover in the fourth quarter of 2012, and began production as of January 2013.
